MONROE, UT — South Sevier High School is ranked second in 2A, and senior Race Parsons is a big part of that ranking.

Parsons leads the state in 3-pointers made and he is sixth on the all-time list in Utah. Parsons is 45 percent on the season from behind the arc, and his skills are starting to get some national attention.

The guard who is headed to Southern Utah University next year is up for the national high school 3-point shooter of the year.

The American Family Insurance High School Slam Dunk and 3-Point Championships awards the best dunker and shooter in high school. Parsons is into the final four against kids from Colorado, Georgia and Ohio.

Race Parsons hits a 3 from way beyond the arc.

Parsons is currently trailing a guard from Ohio by a few percentage points, but we can help him take the lead.

Hit the link and vote for Parsons. There is a just a few days left to vote, and if Parsons wins he will head to Atlanta to compete live on CBS in April for the crown of best high school shooter in the country.

Take a minute to watch Parsons' video and you'll see the kid can hit from anywhere on the floor. He has a mean crossover and a pretty jump shot. Let's help Parsons get to Atlanta for a chance to prove he's the best in the country.

Baseball is back

Pre-season baseball is underway and we've already got a sweet highlight for you, but this is from the college ranks, not the pros.

Center fielder Brett Williams from NC State pulled off an incredible somersault catch that got his teammates cheering and the batter cursing his name.

To really understand the awesomeness of the catch you just need to watch it. I played baseball for years and never did anything that cool, but I also wasn't very good so that's not totally fair.

British teens know nothing about the NFL

Someone thought it would be a good idea to sit down with a bunch of British teenagers and see what they knew about the NFL. To no one's surprise, it was next to nothing.

While we were all expecting these kids to know pretty much nothing about the NFL, it's still kind of comical to hear them try and figure out what a sack is and get red in the face when asked about the role of a tight end.

While I would like to sit here and poke fun at them, I realize I can't because they are better versed in the NFL than I am with anything when it comes to soccer.
