COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS — A man was arrested Friday night after fleeing from the cops and trying to dispose of marijuana.
Cottonwood Heights police officers pulled over Curtis Crabbs for a traffic violation at 9:00 p.m. Friday night, but after the officers got Crabb's information, he drove away. Officers saw Crabbs throw a small bag out of his car window as he was driving.
When officers recovered the bag, they discovered it was marijuana. The officers went to Crabb's home address near 2500 Cinnabar St. 7200 south and waited at his house. Several minutes later he drove up to his home, and the officers arrested him.
Crabbs was booked in the Cottonwood Heights jail and is being charged with Driving Under the Influence, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, fleeing from an officer, and for reckless driving.
