SALT LAKE CITY — The Lone Peak Knights are not only dominating local competition but also dominated a prominent program on national television.

Top five games to watch this week
Highland at No. 3 Bountiful Tuesday 7pm Game Night Live Game of the Week
The Braves and Rams are undefeated in Region 6 play and will break the tie Tuesday night. Bountiful has won 12 in a row while Highland is looking to earn respect.Murray at No. 5 Olympus Tuesday 7pm KSL.com Stream of the Week
Olympus is now ranked and rolling in Region 7 play. If Murray could win at Olympus it would completely change the region race and put the Spartans in control.Sky View at Roy Wednesday 7pm
This game features two of the best players in the state, Sky View's Jalen Moore and Roy's Brekkott Chapman. Roy can make a statement with a win and all but end Sky View's quest for a Region title.Alta at No. 3 Brighton Friday 7pm
Alta almost pulled off the upset when these two rivals met on January 11th. Hunter at Kearns Friday 7pm
Hunter can take control of Region 2 with a win over their rivals why Dayon Goodman and Kearns can claim a share of 1st place with a victory.
Top five performances of the week
Race Parsons and Austin Clark, South Sevier
Parsons scored 42 points, pulled down 13 rebounds, and made six 3-point shots while his teammate Austin Clark scored 26 points and 13 rebounds in an important region win over Emery. Brandon Miller, Brighton
Miller was on fire in a win over Copper Hills. He hit 10 3-point shots on 12 attempts and scored 39 points in the victory. He made 14 3-point shots total in two victories. Sterling Brandley, Ben Lomond
Brandley scored 36 points to lead the Scots to a 66-63 upset win over Bear Rive in double overtime.Marquis Jones, Clearfield
Jones scored 29 points leading the Falcons to a 59-43 win over Cyprus, their first region win of the season.Chad Corry, Canyon View
Corry scored 27 points to lead the Falcons to an upset win over their cross town rivals Cedar 64-52

They defeated Archbishop Mitty, California at the Hoop Hall classic on January 21.

Archbishop Mitty featured top prospect Aaron Gordon but the Knights dominated his team 81-46 in a game televised on ESPN U.

The next day Lone Peak was back in Utah and defeated Bingham 92-57.

The ended their week with a 75-49 win over Lehi. They held the Pioneers scoreless in the 1st quarter and won without Nick Emery who sat out the game after getting ejected from Tuesday's win over Bingham.

The Knights are No. 1 in the latest 5A KSL Coaches Poll. followed by Davis who moved to 14-1 and 4-0 in Region 1.

Brighton remains No.3 after dominant wins over Copper Hills and West Jordan moving their region record to 5-0. The Bengals region rival Jordan is right behind them at No. 4 and Weber bounced back this week with a road win over Northridge.

Orem impressed 4A coaches enough to move back to the top spot in this week's 4A poll. The Tigers defeated Maple Mountain and Timpanogos to move into a first place tie with No. 2 Timpview in Region 8. The Thunderbirds survived an upset bid from Springville and had no trouble with Provo.

No. 3 Bountiful is the hottest team in 4A. They have won 12 straight games with their last loss coming on December 6th to Denver East, the No. 1 team in Colorado. Mountain Crest moves into the top five at No. 4 this week after an impressive win at Sky View on Friday.

They are followed by Olympus who is 4-0 in Region 7 after playing a difficult non-region schedule that featured games against Alta, Highland, Davis and Bountiful.

Morgan remains No. 1 in 3A. The Trojans survived a scare from Ben Lomond to win their 11th straight and take a 3 game lead in Region 11. Spanish Fork moves up to No. 2 after defeating Payson.

No. 3 Judge bounced back this week after their overtime loss to Union last week by crushing Park City and Uintah. Desert Hills earned big wins over Cedar and Dixie to move back into the top five at No. 4. They are followed by Snow Canyon who leads Region 9 with a 6-1 record.

Wasatch Academy is No. 1 in 2A followed by South Sevier, Emery, Richfield and Manti.

Bryce Valley moves up to No. 1 in 1A after previously top ranked Panguitch slipped against Wayne. They drop to No. 3 this week. Monticello is No. 2, Layton Christian No. 4 and Rich No. 5.
