Pull Up to Your Desk in a Ferrari
April 28th, 2006 @ 4:35pm

Ed Yeates Reporting

Want to pull yourself to your office desk in a Ferrari?

The look, the power -- whether out on the road or just parked in your driveway, it is the ultimate driving machine, a genuine Ferrari. Little beyond your price? Can't afford it? How about just the seat!

Let us show you the new Ferrari desk chair. It's not like driving the car, but with the Pinifarina name on it, it's got all the luxury.

The X-10 even comes in Ferrari's colors. The seat moves forward or back, and oh that seat! Dave Mason with Relax The Back is our demonstrator.

Dave Mason, Relax The Back: "This one incorporates gel with mesh. And this has a molded seat frame so it won't put pressure on the hamstrings."

Arm rests move in tandem to fit your posture. And the lumbar support can be moved up, down or side-to-side. It has shock absorbers

While not squealing down the road…

Dave Mason: "That really nice feeling of support front or back when you're rocking or when you lock it in position."

Combine the X-10 with a Swiss made adjustable desk and you're really behind the driver's wheel. With a push of a button, the desk moves up or down to fit any working position, or to just let you stand for a while.

The Ferrari chair runs about $3,000.
