SALT LAKE CITY — Students held their breath as Governor Herbert put the star on top of their tree at the mansion on Thursday.
Woodrow Wilson Elementary brought handmade decorations and sang for the Governor and his wife.
"When they would do something, they would say, 'This is like Christams for the governor,'" said teacher, Helen Bingham. "It's just been so exciting for them."
The children sang about the Grinch and then toured the mansion with the First Lady.
Public tours of the Mansion's Christmas Trees are Tuesday and Thursdays from 2-4 p.m. throughout the month of December.
