OREM — If you didn't have one growing up, your friends probably did. Volkswagen sold millions of the original Beetle, Bus, and other air-cooled vehicles. Now a bit rare, the Wasatch Vintage Volkswagens, Salt City Air Coolers and Vee-Dub Club of Northern Utah put on their annual Wasatch Classic. It's the car show that features only one brand of car: the Volkswagen.

The show was held in the shade of Provo's Pioneer Park for its first 12 years, but then Provo asked the old cars to move along. This year, the show moved to The Village at University Mall (next to Cinemark). Rain provided a free car wash to the V-Dubs on July 14, 2012. Admission was free.

It's a casual environment, one where you can see new, custom VWs, and old ones in all states of repair.
