PROVO -- In honor of the final installment of Harry Potter movies, a group of BYU students has released a parody that's a hit online.

The music video "Firebolt" by the group "BYU Divine Comedy" already has about 100,000 hits on YouTube. It's a Harry Potter-inspired parody of Katy Perry's music video "Firework."

It includes slightly off-key singing, people painting thunderbolts on their faces, dancing with sparklers and riding broomsticks.

According to the Deseret News, the writer of the parody, Melanie Call, said, "This was just me being nerdy, just writing my heart down."

The group's other Internet hits include "Provo UT Gurls." That video has recorded more than 790,000 views on YouTube.
