MOAB -- Skydiving instructor David Roy Brown was last seen nine days ago, and his friends and family grow more and more worried.

Brown is 37-years-old, 6'0 tall, 180 pounds with green eyes and dark brown hair.
He has four tattoos: a black bat and a hummingbird on his left shoulder; an alien head and a mustache on his back.

Rocky Mountain Rescue Dogs scoured the foothills July 8, while the weather was cool, and they'll be back at it again. The dogs have searched two days for Dave Brown, and though they picked up his scent, they found little else.

Brown was last seen Wednesday, June 29th around 2 p.m. Near 488 Doc Allen Drive in Moab.

Those close to Brown have no idea why he would disappear, there were no signs anything was wrong, though his employer, Clint MacBeth, said that he had recently gone through a divorce.

"It's not like him to cause great concern to loved ones, to the sky diving community, and to his employers... absolutely uncharacteristic," said Wendi TeKamp, Brown's sister.

His girlfriend, Stephnie Joensson just arrived from Sweden.

"Now I am here looking for Dave. We've been to all the places where I thought that he might have been," she said.

The 37-year-old's driver license, wallet, and other belongings were found in his home.

Police are still pushing forward with the search, regardless. Two motorized paragliders will be added this weekend to aid.

Brown, a Canadian native, arrived in Moab two months ago. He taught at Skydive Moab and stayed at MacBeth's home. He is a national champion and world-record-holding skydiver.

His high school friend Micaela Choo expressed her bewilderment: "Where would he be? So in touch with social media before this, and now - completely gone silent."
