(KSL News) A nurse's aide charged with raping an elderly woman made his initial court appearance via closed circuit television today.

Jacob Bolith was supposed to be in court yesterday but had to appear for an old DUI case instead.

Bolith is accused of raping an 85-year-old woman in his care. More than a dozen other patients have since come forward with similar claims.

He's due in court next on July 31 for a roll call hearing.
