MOAB - The Grand County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help to find the man who shot park ranger Brody Young.
The sheriff's office believes Lance Arellano shot Young last month and has been on the run ever since. A massive search was conducted to find Arellano, but he was never found.
The sheriff's office sent out a release asking "anyone who has a past or present association with or knowledge of Lance Arellano" to contact them immediately at 435-259-8115.
They also asked any "former work associates, acquaintances, and others who may know Arellano" to please come forward with information.
Arellano faces one felony and two misdemeanor charges, including attempted aggravated murder, providing false information to a peace officer, and failing to stop at the command of an officer.
Young is still in critical condition in a Grand Junction, Co. hospital.
