Former Snow College Employee Charged with Fraud

MANTI, Utah (AP) -- Sanpete County filed criminal charges on Wednesday against a former Snow College employee who is accused of 23 counts of communications fraud.

Vickie Murray of Ephraim was fired by Snow College in April after she reported the fraud to her supervisor. The college said any financial losses would be covered by insurance.

Communications fraud is a second-degree felony. It carries a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

Murray could not be reached for comment. There is no phone listing under her name in Ephraim.
