SALT LAKE CITY -- A cracked windshield and a bad light led to the arrest of a man wanted on several warrants early Thursday.
According to the Utah Highway Patrol, a trooper pulled Randal Massey of West Jordan over near 3300 South and 300 West because of the windshield. However, as the trooper returned to his patrol car to run the standard warrants and licenses check, Massey jumped out of his car and ran.
Troopers brought in a K-9 unit to track him. Massey was found hiding in a nearby apartment complex after he hurt himself hopping a fence. He was taken into custody.
Turns out, he has several warrants, including one felony, out for his arrest.
