TOKYO (AP) — Tokyo Olympic organizers have signed up two major Japanese financial institutions as domestic sponsors of the 2020 Games.

The addition of Mizuho Financial Group, Inc. and Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group, Inc. brings the total number of top-tier national sponsors to 12.

The two companies have exclusive rights in the banking category. Financial terms were not released.

Other domestic sponsors include telecommunications company NTT and sporting goods maker ASICS.

Tokyo's domestic sponsorships are separate from the global TOP sponsorship program run by the International Olympic Committee. Japanese automaker Toyota and tire manufacturer Bridgestone are among the worldwide sponsors.
