Wilson and Zuback win Champion's Challenge
October 13th, 2009 @ 11:03pm

LEHI -- Johnny Miller's Champions Challenge brought some of the best golfers in the United States into Utah again. Tuesday's main event was won by long-drive champions Jason Zubak and Bobby Wilson.

"You know, you kinda think was it just catching lightning in a bottle that first time? But to come back and do it under these conditions on this golf course, this means a whole lot to he and I ‘cause we always wanted to do it again," Wilson said.

Rocco Mediate, who took Tiger Woods to an 18-hole playoff in the 2008 U.S. Open, had a chance to tie for the lead in Utah Tuesday on 18, but he had to hole-out the approach. It was a nice shot, but not good enough.

The best highlight wasn't caught on tape: Seventy-eight-year-old Billy Casper's 24th career hole-in-one. >>

"[It's] not as exciting as it used to be," Casper said. "I mean, years ago it was much more exciting. But it's not as exciting now. Things have worn off with age."
