EDISON, N.J. (AP) — Brian Harman made a hole-in-one twice Sunday in The Barclays, the first time that's happened on the PGA Tour in nine years.

Harman hit a 7-iron from 184 yards on the third hole at Plainfield. On the final par 3, he hit 4-iron hybrid into the cup on the 14th hole. The last player with two aces in the same round was Yusaku Miyazato in the 2006 Reno-Tahoe Open.

Harman needed both of them. Even with the aces, he closed with a 68.

Both shots were going right at the hole the moment it left the club. He says he told the first to go in. When the ball was in flight on the second one, he said, "Make it two."

He says he was "shocked." He adds: "They're just so rare."
