CHONBURI, Thailand (AP) — American Stacy Lewis shot a 1-over 73 on Saturday in hot and humid conditions in the Honda LPGA Thailand to take a one-stroke lead over South Korea's Amy Yang into the final round.

The third-ranked Lewis entered the day with a three-shot lead after opening with rounds of 66 and 64 on Siam Country Club's Pattaya Old Course. She had a 13-under 203 total.

"That (being in the lead) is pretty much the only good thing that came out of today," Lewis said.

Lewis had two birdies and five bogeys — the last on the final hole.

"It was a bit all over the place today," Lewis said. "Hit some good shots, hit some shots too far."

The Texan won three times last year and has 11 career LPGA Tour titles.

Yang birdied the final two holes for a 71. She was second last week in the Women's Australian Open, two strokes behind top-ranked Lydia Ko.

"I'll just do my best one shot at a time," Yang said. "I won't think about too much. I am going to go to the range and work on some of my swing right now and putting a little bit and get ready to go. "

Germany's Sandra Gal was third at 11 under after a 68.

"That was the goal at the beginning of the season, to be in contention and have a chance to win on Sunday," Gal said. "I just need to relax and kind of do the same thing I did the last few days. I think the more chances I'll have the better I'll do. Tomorrow, I just have to go out, and, like I said, just be relaxed and enjoy the moment."

South Koreans Mirim Lee and Jenny Shin were 10 under. They each shot 70.
