LISBON, Portugal (AP) — Defending champion Benfica defeated crosstown rival Belenenses 2-0 Sunday to maintain a three-point lead over FC Porto in the Portuguese league.

Konstantinos Mitroglou scored in the 10th minute and Alex Grimaldo sealed the victory for the visitors in the 65th.

The result kept Benfica as the only undefeated team in the league. It has won all five of its away games.

FC Porto beat Arouca 3-0 on Saturday, while third-placed Sporting Lisbon was held to a 1-1 draw against Tondela to drop five points behind Benfica.
