BELGRADE, Serbia (AP) — Serbia's Football Association has appointed Slavoljub Muslin as the new coach of the national team.
The 62-year-old Muslin, a former Red Star Belgrade player, replaces Radovan Curcic after he was sacked last month having failed to qualify for the European Championship.
Muslin is widely experienced at club level, having previously coached Red Star Belgrade, Bordeaux, Standard Liege and several other teams.
He begins his tenure with a friendly against Cyprus later this month.
