DETROIT (AP) — Boston Bruins star Patrice Bergeron missed his second consecutive game Sunday because of an undisclosed injury.
The Bruins did not provide details on why Bergeron wasn't playing against Detroit. He also sat out Saturday at Minnesota.
Bergeron, Boston's leader this season in points, has 21 goals and 26 assists. Before sitting out Saturday's victory, the 30-year-old center had missed only three games since the start of the 2013-14 season.
