Knicks waive Joe Crawford, Chris Hunter
October 22nd, 2009 @ 12:30pm

NEW YORK (AP) - The New York Knicks have waived guard Joe Crawford and forward Chris Hunter, leaving the roster at 14.

Crawford played two games last season with the Knicks, averaging 4.5 points and 2.0 rebounds. Hunter also signed with New York late last season but never appeared in a game.

The Knicks actually have only 13 active players, since Cuttino Mobley still occupies a roster spot even though he retired last season because of a heart condition.
