HOUSTON (AP) — Kyrie Irving and Paul George are expected to sit out the U.S. Olympic basketball team's exhibition game against Nigeria on Monday night to rest injuries.

Irving bruised his left thigh in the Americans' victory over Venezuela on Friday. The Cleveland Cavaliers' point guard was replaced by Toronto's Kyle Lowry, a former Rockets player who received a warm welcome from the Toyota Center crowd.

George missed his second game while he recovers from a left calf injury. Harrison Barnes made his first start in the Indiana All-Star's place.
