MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — Memphis Grizzlies guard/forward Vince Carter has an injured tendon in his left foot and will undergo more evaluation.

The team announced Friday that an MRI revealed the injury and he'll be re-evaluated next week.

Carter hurt his foot Thursday in the Grizzlies' 99-69 victory over the Denver Nuggets. Carter left the game in the second quarter and didn't return.

The 38-year-old Carter is averaging 6 points this season.
