SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook is sitting out against the Sacramento Kings to rest his surgically repaired right knee.

Thunder coach Scott Brooks said before Tuesday's night game that Westbrook would not play. The guard is expected to start Wednesday night at the Los Angeles Clippers. Since returning on Feb. 20 following knee surgery, Westbrook has rested for one game during back-to-back sets.

Brooks also said guard Thabo Sefolosha will return to the lineup against Sacramento. Sefolosha hasn't played since injuring his left calf against Memphis on Feb. 28.

Kings big man Reggie Evans and forward Rudy Gay were out with back injuries, and point guard Isaiah Thomas sat out for the eighth straight game with a bruised right quadriceps.
