Rudolph inactive for Vikings against Dolphins

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (AP) — Tight end Kyle Rudolph is inactive for the Minnesota Vikings against the Miami Dolphins because of ankle and knee injuries.

Rudolph, who will miss his seventh game of the season, had been doubtful.

Safety Robert Blanton is active Sunday, but won't start. He had been questionable with ankle and knee injuries.

Right tackle Dallas Thomas is inactive for the Dolphins, and replacement Jason Fox will make his first start of the season. Thomas had been doubtful with a foot injury.

Miami starting linebacker Jelani Jenkins is active. He had been questionable with a foot injury.

Vikings rookie David Yankey, a fifth-round pick, is active for the first time. Dolphins backup receiver Rishard Matthews, who was not on the injury report, is inactive.
