SAN ANTONIO (AP) — There was a triple overtime thriller in the NBA last night. Damian Lillard had a career-high 43 points, including 16 after regulation, as the Portland Trail Blazers outlasted the San Antonio Spurs, 129-119. LaMarcus Aldridge had 32 points and 16 rebounds for the Blazers, who've won four straight.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — Jimmy Butler scored 31 points, Nikola Mirotic (NEE'koh-luh MEER'-oh-tihch) added a season-best 27 and the Chicago Bulls snapped Memphis' six-game winning streak with a 103-97. The Bulls defense held the Grizzlies to 39 percent shooting.

SALEM, Va. (AP) — For the second straight year and fifth out of the last six, Wisconsin-Whitewater is king of Division III football. Matt Behrendt threw for 365 yards and four touchdowns and Wisconsin-Whitewater continued its mastery of Mount Union in the NCAA Division III championship game, 43-34.

LANDOVER, Md. (AP) — Two NFL games are on tap today, including the 9-5 Philadelphia Eagles facing 3-11 Washington, which is riding a six-game losing streak. Philadelphia has lost two straight and trails Dallas by one game in NFC East, but the Eagles hold the tiebreaker against the Cowboys.

SANTA CLARA, Calif. (AP) — Later tonight, the 7-7 San Francisco 49ers host the 8-6 San Diego Chargers, who have won the last three meetings in this series. The Niners were eliminated from the playoff chase last week while the Chargers must win out and get help to make playoffs.
