OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) — Two people with knowledge of the deal say the Oakland Athletics have traded All-Star catcher Derek Norris and minor league right-hander Seth Streich to the San Diego Padres for righties Jesse Hahn and R.J. Alvarez along with an international signing bonus slot. The 25-year-old Norris batted .270 with 10 home runs and 55 RBIs in 127 games for the Athletics.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Jordan Todman produced a 62-yard touchdown run that helped the Jacksonville Jaguars beat the Tennessee Titans 21-13 in a matchup of two of the NFL's worst teams. The 3-12 Jaguars won for the second time in four weeks, handing the 2-13 Titans their ninth straight loss--moving Tennessee a bit closer to securing the No. 1 pick in the NFL draft.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — It took overtime and they still got a point, but the Columbus Jackets' seven-game winning streak is over. Washington's Eric Fehr (FAIR) scored 42 seconds into OT and the Caps scored a 5-4 win over the Blue Jackets as Washington garnered at least a point in its seventh straight game.

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — Freshman point guard Tyus Jones scored 21 points, Justise Winslow hit two key baskets late in the game and No. 2 Duke beat defending national champion Connecticut 66-56. Winslow and fellow freshman Jahlil Okafor added 12 points apiece for Duke, which improved to 10-0.

BOSTON (AP) — Dallas has finally secured a point guard to help distribute the ball to perennial All-Star Dirk Nowitzki (noh-VIHT'-skee). The Boston Celtics traded four-time all-star point guard Rajon Rondo (RAH'-zhahn RAHN'-doh) to the Mavericks for Jae Crowder, Brandan Wright, Jameer Nelson and two draft picks.
