PARADISE ISLAND, Bahamas (AP) — A pair of top-25 teams has been knocked off in the Battle 4 Atlantis quarterfinals this afternoon. Alex Barlow scored 17 points and Kelan Martin came off the bench to score 17 more as Butler downed fifth-ranked North Carolina 74-66. Bahamas native Buddy Hield poured in 24 points and Frank Booker added 11 to lead Oklahoma's 75-65 victory against No. 22 UCLA.

DURHAM, N.C. (AP) — Freshman Jahlil Okafor (jah-LIHL' OH'-kah-fohr) had a season-high 24 points and fourth-ranked Duke improved to 6-0 by pounding Furman 93-54. The Blue Devils shot 58 percent, outscored Furman 54-18 in the paint and held a 40-27 rebounding advantage. Amile Jefferson added 16 points and 12 rebounds to the rout.

ASHBURN, Va. (AP) — Washington will start Colt McCoy over Robert Griffin III on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts. First-year coach Jay Gruden said McCoy will be given every opportunity to hold the job for the final five games of the season. Griffin is 4-14 as a starter since the start of the 2013 season and has struggled to adjust his game.

UNDATED (AP) — A person familiar with the negotiations tells The Associated Press that Cuban outfielder Yasmany Tomas is in the process of agreeing to a $68.5 million, six-year contract with the Arizona Diamondbacks. The person said several additional steps were necessary but the agreement was likely to be finalized in the next few days. The 24-year-old Tomas hit .375 for Cuba with two homers and five RBIs in 16 at-bats during last year's World Baseball Classic.

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) — University of Virginia athletic director Craig Littlepage says Mike London will return as head football coach next season. The announcement ends questions about whether the Cavaliers would be playing for London's future at rival Virginia Tech on Friday night. The Cavs are 23-37 in five seasons under London, including a 5-6 mark this year.
