National Garbage Persons Recognition Day: June 17 is National Garbage Persons Recognition Day. While this may seem like a trivial date on the calendar, we feel this is a very under represented industry. Few people know what happens to their trash when they throw it away, and even fewer know who does that job. We celebrated our employees with a breakfast, and to my knowledge we are the only recycling and waste hauler in Utah to do so. We hope that others will recognize the critical role these men and women play in making our communities livable. Feel free to use any of the pictures or text in this email, as we wish to bring to attention the people behind this essential public service. .
