A Utah man is quitting his job at a Salt Lake restaurant so he and his buddy can start the hike he's been dreaming about. After 19,000 miles and five years from now, he hopes to have traveled the Western Hemisphere from top to bottom.

Juvenile quagga mussels were discovered in Deer Creek Reservoir in October and Division of Wildlife Resources biologists are working to eliminate the invasive species before the population can spread.
