PRAGUE (AP) - A police official says the suspect in the fatal shootings of a teenager and her grandfather in eastern Czech Republic is a teacher who owns several weapons.

But he declined to say what may have motivated the killer to attack the family or identify the suspect further.

The 31-year-old suspect is alleged to have broken a window to enter the victims' house in Raskovice village on Monday. Police say he carried three different pistols.

The dead were ages 17 and 74; the teen's 71-year-old grandmother was wounded.

Regional police chief Tomas Kuzel said Wednesday that the suspect had another six guns and 6,000 pieces of ammunition in his home _ all held legally.
