LONDON (AP) - A prominent British disc jockey has pleaded not guilty to more than a dozen charges of indecent assault.
DJ Dave Lee Travis _ whose real name is David Patrick Griffin _ was arrested in November as part of a wide-ranging police inquiry that began by looking into allegations against the late Jimmy Savile, a BBC TV host suspected of abusing hundreds of underage girls.
The 68-year-old Travis is accused of 14 counts of indecent assault between 1976 and 2003, along with one count of sexual assault in 2008.
Travis pleaded not guilty to the 15 charges Tuesday at London's Southwark Crown Court.
His trial is set to start on Jan. 14.
