LOS ANGELES (AP) — The Latest on the trial of a man charged with stalking model and reality television star Kendall Jenner (all times local):

4:30 p.m.

A jury has acquitted a man of stalking TV star Kendall Jenner and convicted him of trespassing at her secluded Hollywood Hills home.

The jury of seven women and five men returned the verdict Monday against 25-year-old Shavaughn McKenzie after a seven-day trial in which Jenner described her fear at finding him lurking in her driveway and banging on her car window in August.

A prosecutor said McKenzie tracked the whereabouts of Jenner for 15 months before his arrest on Aug. 14 outside her home.

McKenzie's attorney contended his client is mentally ill, posed no risk to Jenner and only wanted to talk to her.

Jenner called her encounter with McKenzie the scariest moment of her life.

A jury says it has reached a verdict in the trial of a man charged with stalking model and reality television star Kendall Jenner.

The verdict in the misdemeanor case against Shavaughn McKenzie will be read later Monday.

The 25-year-old transient was arrested in August after he followed Jenner's vehicle into the driveway of her secluded Hollywood Hills home.

A prosecutor says McKenzie kept tabs on Jenner for 15 months and repeatedly tried to meet her despite warnings from police that he should stay away.

McKenzie's attorney says his client did not intend to scare Jenner and posed no threat to her.

The 20-year-old "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star testified she was terrified when McKenzie approached her in her driveway.

A jury has begun deliberations in the case of a man charged with stalking model and reality television star Kendall Jenner.

The panel of seven women and five men began deliberations Monday afternoon in the misdemeanor case against Shavaughn McKenzie.

The 25-year-old was arrested after he followed Jenner into the driveway of her secluded Hollywood Hills home in August and tried to talk to her.

A prosecutor alleges McKenzie tried repeatedly over a 15-month period to talk to Jenner.

She called the driveway encounter with the Florida native the most terrifying moments of her life.

McKenzie's lawyer contends his client posed no risk to the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star and merely wanted to speak with her.

If convicted of stalking, McKenzie faces up to a year in jail.

The defense lawyer for a man charged with stalking Kendall Jenner has urged a jury to acquit the Florida native because he never intended to scare the model and reality television star.

Attorney Taylor Shramo told the panel on Monday that his client repeatedly tried to meet Jenner for the sole purpose of talking to her.

Shramo acknowledged that Jenner was terrified of Shavaughn McKenzie when he followed her car into the driveway of her Hollywood Hills home in August and repeatedly tried to speak to her.

A prosecutor has said McKenzie stalked Jenner for 15 months before his arrest in August.

Shramo argued Monday that a prosecutor had not proven McKenzie maliciously followed the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star, and also should not be convicted of trespassing.
