MIAMI (AP) — Three weeks after Univision host Rodner Figueroa was fired for remarks he made about first lady Michelle Obama, Carlos Calderon and Jomari Goyso were named the new hosts of "Sal y Pimienta."

Univision announced Wednesday that Calderon and Goyso will join Lourdes Stephen as hosts of the Sunday-night entertainment show starting this week.

Figueroa was fired for saying that first lady Michelle Obama looked like part of the cast of the movie "Planet of the Apes."

Calderon is a co-host of "El Gordo y la Flaca." Goyso is one of the judges of Univision's beauty pageant reality "Nuestra Belleza Latina."

"Both Carlos Calderon and Jomari Goyso are beloved among our audience," said Alberto Ciurana, the network's president of programming and content.
