LAS VEGAS (AP) — Wynn Las Vegas is pouring $3 million into a four-minute fire and water display at its nearly 10-year-old Le Reve - The Dream show.

Officials said they plan to debut the new features to show-goers Monday.

Those features include fountains resembling a miniature version of the iconic display outside the Bellagio except inside the show's theater and in color.

Performers now dance through a mix of fire and water erupting from below and walls of water rain down from the tall ceiling displaying projected images.

The show has always featured water elements, synchronized swimming and acrobatics.

Officials say the company spent some 18 months working on the new elements designed by Wet Design, the same California-based company that developed the Bellagio fountain display and Mirage volcano show.
