JERSEY CITY, N.J. (AP) — New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie danced like a dad and danced around his chances in a hypothetical matchup against Hillary Rodham Clinton during another late-night TV appearance.

The possible 2016 Republican presidential contender was asked Thursday on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" whether "hypothetically" he thinks he could beat Clinton, the possible Democratic candidate.

The governor's response: "Hypothetically? You bet."

Fallon then asked, "In a dance-off?"

Christie responded, "That's what I was talking about. What are you talking about?"

The governor also busted various moves during a recurring segment called "the evolution of dad dancing."

Christie joked his dancing was more humiliating to his family than the scandal over his administration's involvement in redirecting traffic on the George Washington Bridge in an apparent act of political retribution.
