TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — State police on Tuesday released audio recordings from three 911 calls made after the weekend accident that injured Tracy Morgan and killed another comedian.

"It's a terrible accident," a woman tells the dispatcher in one of the calls. "The car flipped. It's on its side. It's two vehicles and a Wal-Mart truck."

The crash early Saturday killed 62-year-old James "Jimmy Mack" McNair and injured Morgan and three others. The driver of Morgan's limo and another passenger were unhurt.

Wal-Mart trucker Kevin Roper was expected to appear in state court Wednesday on charges of death by auto and assault by auto. It was unclear if Roper, of Jonesboro, Georgia, had retained an attorney. He remained free after posting $50,000 bond.

Authorities said Roper hadn't slept for more than 24 hours when he smashed into the back of Morgan's chauffeured limo bus.

Morgan suffered a broken femur, a broken nose and several broken ribs. He and two of the injured passengers were in critical but stable condition at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.

FX Networks issued a statement Tuesday saying Morgan's new series is waiting for him once he's well, but that his recovery is all that matters now.

The half-hour comedy was scheduled to start filming in August for a January premiere on the FXX network. FX said that whenever Morgan decides he is ready to work, "his show will be waiting for him."
