DALLAS (AP) - Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld is bringing his "Metiers d'Art" show to Dallas next month.
The collection showcasing the work of artisans, such as embroiders, will be held Dec. 10 at Fair Park, the city's historic exhibition venue.
Before the show, a film written and directed by Lagerfeld about the couture house's creator, Coco Chanel, will premiere. "The Return" stars Geraldine Chaplin and Rupert Everett. The film also will be shown on Chanel's website when it premieres in Dallas.
Since 2002, Lagerfeld has developed a "Metiers d'Art" collection to show each year in December. The show has previously been held in places such as Tokyo, London, Shanghai and Edinburgh.
