Freddy\'s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is now open in Ogden. The 12th street location is the first in Utah, but will soon be joined by two other restaurants. Some guest favorite foods at Freddy\'s are the original double and the signature turtle. Freddy\'s menu items are made from premium ingredients, and cooked after you\'ve placed your order.

LOCATIONS: Right now two other restaurant locations are under construction. The one in Midvale is located at 700 W. Blue Vista Lane near the junction of Interstate 15 and Jordan River Boulevard. An additional location is under construction in West Valley City directly in front of the Target at Highbury Center. Both locations are expected to open mid-to-late summer.

ABOUT FREDDY\'S: Founded in 2002, Freddy\'s is a fast-casual restaurant franchise offering high-quality, cooked-to-order food, as well as dessert treats prepared with freshly-churned chocolate or vanilla frozen custard. Freddy\'s menu items include steakburgers, Vienna Beef hotdogs, shoestring fries and the restaurant has more than 30 toppings and mix-ins for its custard treats.

WHAT IS A STEAKBURGER? A steakburger has similar characteristics to that of a hamburger, but a steakburger is traditionally pressed thin on the grill to create crispy, caramelized edges and a juicy, flavorful center.

WHAT IS FROZEN CUSTARD? Frozen custard is denser, richer, and creamier than ice cream due to a churning process that minimizes ice crystals and excess air.
