Firefighters from Station 2 in Salt Lake City stopped by for International Firefighter's Day. In honor of the holiday, they showed us how to make one of their favorite meals at the station. BBQ chicken salad dressed with lots of toppings is a favorite among many, and easy to put together for a light meal.
International Firefighters' Day is a time when world can recognize and honor the sacrifices that firefighters make to ensure that their communities and environment are as safe as possible. It is also a day in which current and past firefighters can be thanked for their contributions. Many people wear red and blue ribbons on May 4th in recognition of the event.
