Technology is the center of our universe these days, and there's a growing movement to get more girls involved in the tech.

The SheTech Explorer Conference at UVU on March 13th aims to show high school-aged girls the different areas that are available in technology fields. The day-long event will include hands-on workshops in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).

Cydni Tetro joined us on the Browser 5.0 to better help us better understand why these fields are so important for women and girls to get involved in.

The goal is to show girls that technology can be a fun atmosphere, and help them meet STEM role models to learn more about opportunities in these fields.
