School isn't just in a classroom anymore. Utah Connections Academy is an online public school where students can still learn and interact with each other, but have time for other activities at home as well.
Faith Hazen, a 4th Grader, is one of those students. She wants to be a gymnast in the 2020 Summer Olympics and trains during the day. Utah Connections Academy is perfect for her schedule.
Erik Albertine, a science teacher with Utah Connections Academy says students still go on field trips, interact through these online classes, and have textbooks.
Right now, there are about 700 students enrolled in this program, and they can take up to 1000.
