A new app is on a mission to help every shoe shopper find exactly the right shoe. V-fit believes shoppers still have a hard time finding the right size. You check out the app, and it has more than two-million shoes from more than sixty online stores. Then you virtually scan your feet and in a sense, try those shoes on. You can find shoes that mold the best to your foot. Then you can save your favorite brands for an even more personalized shopping experience the next time.
However, if Reebok has anything to say about it, you won't need V-Fit. These new heat-reactive running shoes mold to your foot. You heat up the synthetic mesh material for two minutes with a hair dryer. Then you put the shoe on, pull the laces tight and the shoe becomes malleable. It begins molding to your foot. Within two minutes, the shoe cools and it has all the precise contours of your foot. Reebok says it has been making custom-fitted shoes for athletes for year, and now it's time for everyone to have them.
