Spring weather can be crazy with temperatures fluctuating dramatically all season long. This new inflatable jacket might change how you dress outdoors this year. The Ulaar Jacket, developed by Ogden-based apparel company Klymit, uses a technology called NobelTek. You inflate the jacket with argon gas when you're cold, and then deflate the jacket when the temperature warms up.

President of Kylmit Cory Tholl says, "staying warm is all about creating loft." Whether it's feather down or synthetic fiber, the insulation found in clothing captures air to put space between the wearer and the cold temperatures. The Ulaar cuts out the bulky, puffy insulation opting instead to fill the jackets' interior light-weight gas. The result is a versatile garment that eliminates the need for layers.

The Ulaar Jacket retails for $300 and can be found on their website.
