Alaskan Brown Bears typically live on the southern tip of Alaska, where they have access to plenty of salmon. The bears have plenty of food, as well as a milder climate in this area.
A brown bear can weigh as much as 1,000 pounds — but they've been clocked at speeds as high as 30 miles per hour.
