DOG PARKINGTON — A malamute loves the dog park so much that he throws a fit like a toddler when it’s time to leave.
This is not the first time the Internet has showed us videos of dogs complaining or otherwise acting like teens who like to push the limits as far as authority will allow. And I can’t foresee the Internet every getting tired of dogs with human-like behavior.
YouTube user Josh Gottsegen said he doesn’t own the dog making the verbal complaint, but he spoke to the owner at the time he captured the video.
The owner said she takes her malamute, Koda, to the park every day, and every day the dog stubbornly and vocally refuses to leave, according to the video description.
With every call and coax Koda’s owner makes, the dogs howls correspond accordingly. When his owner’s calls are sharper or louder, Koda’s howls get louder and longer. Koda even anticipates the commands and interrupts his owner’s calls with his plaintive complaints.
It isn’t until a pack of his friends make a move to the exit that Koda finally throws in the towel and moves toward the exit himself. Koda has the worst first-world dog problems I may have ever seen.
Although the video is a year old, it is currently gaining traction online.
