FANATICTOWN — A pint-sized hockey fan is about to make your day a little better.

You or someone you know might believe they are the biggest, truest fan of any given sports team or player. But this little dude probably leaves them all in the dust.

It’s one thing to know the stats or wear an official jersey or wait for hours for an autograph. It’s quite another to feel and exude the maniacal, unbridled joy of a kid fan.

The boy was already lucky enough to watch pregame warm-ups of the Grand Rapids Griffins from the bench. But as players filed off the ice and back into the locker room, player Jordin Tootoo stopped to give the boy a fist bump.

The magic truly begins when Tootoo gave the boy his stick with a nonchalant, “It’s all yours.”

The boy begins to exude so much joy in the form of wild-eyed, delighted laughter that you can’t help but feel just as delighted as he is.

What makes Tootoo’s gesture and the boy’s reaction even sweeter? Tootoo was recently sent down to the Griffins from the Detroit Redwings (a kind of a demotion, for all you non-sports fans) in the middle of the season. According to the Toronto Sun, Tootoo has maintained a positive attitude during his disappointment. But it’s got to feel extra good to get this simple and honest reaction of true love from a fan.

I recommend watching the 15-second video on a loop for a full minute to truly brighten up your day, because that laugh does not get old.
