SALT LAKE CITY — Unsuspecting pranks are just not cool, especially when you're being filmed to be used as the laughing stock of some TV show audience. But in Japan it's all fun and games sometimes.
Imagine being led down a hallway to an elevator to participate in some sort of study. But low and behold, the elevator's floor gives out and you're left fending for yourself in weightless fright.
But wait, there's more. Once you hit solid ground, you're sent down a "lotion slide," which actually resembles something more jelly than anything. You finally slide onto a giant mat, only for a man to hold up a sign saying you've been tricked.
Tricked indeed. But also pretty cruel.
Nevertheless, it's pretty fun to watch. If only American reality TV shows could be like these Japanese shows. I for one would be watching a lot more TV, that's a fact.
