SALT LAKE CITY — Disney fans will be thrilled to learn Santino Fontana, known as the voice of Hans from "Frozen," is coming to Salt Lake City to perform with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir for the Pioneer Day concerts.
He is scheduled to appear in two gala performances called A Summer Celebration of Song.
Fontana enchanted viewers, and Anna, immediately with his smooth voice and irresistible personality as Hans, and he is no stranger to playing a prince.
He was nominated for a Tony Award as best leading actor for his role as Prince Topher in "Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella" and received the 2010 Drama Desk Award for his role in "Brighton Beach Memoirs." Fontana's experience also includes his role as Tony in the Broadway production of "Billy Elliot," for which he received special honors.
"We are delighted to have Santino Fontana join us for this year's concerts," said Mormon Tabernacle Choir president Ron Jarrett. "His musical talents will delight audiences of all ages, whether he is singing Broadway favorites or beloved classical numbers."
These concerts previously hosted Katherine Jenkins, Nathan Pacheco, Lindsey Stirling, Brian Stokes Mitchell and Linda Eder.
