A FEW DETAILS ABOUT THE NEW "STAR WARS" MOVIE

LOS ANGELES (AP) — It's not much, but the first few details about the new "Star Wars" movie have come out. Disney CEO Bob Iger (EYE'-guhr) says Episode Seven will take place three decades after "Return of the Jedi." He says there will be "some very familiar faces along with a trio of new, young leads." The only returning character he'd identify is R2-D2. They hope to have Episode Seven ready for December 2015.

STONES RALLY 'ROUND MICK

NEW YORK (AP) — The Stones are rallying around their grieving leader. Keith Richards says Mick Jagger has always been his "soul brother" and he loves him. He says no one could've predicted that Jagger's girlfriend L'Wren Scott would apparently hang herself. He says "we're all feeling for the man." Charlie Watts says he's there to "support Mick at this awful time." And Ronnie Wood says "the important thing is that we are all pulling together to offer Mick our support."

CHRIS MARTIN JOINING "THE VOICE" AS AN ADVISER

LOS ANGELES (AP) — For the first time, the same person will mentor singers on each of the four teams on "The Voice." And that mentor will be Chris Martin of Coldplay. Martin will get the singers ready for the second set of Battle Rounds starting March 31. He's going to help them with vocal techniques, stage presence and the importance of making the songs their own. The artists on each team will go up against each other, singing the same song. One will get to advance to the next round. In the meantime, the first set of Battle Rounds continues this Monday and Tuesday.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — The theme for tonight's "American Idol" is Top 10 songs from 2010 to the present. The Top 10 will choose their favorite Top 10s to perform. One will go home tomorrow. Jennifer Lopez will sing her new single "I Luh Papi."

''INCREDIBLES" SEQUEL, PLUS THIRD "CARS" MOVIE

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Fans of "The Incredibles" are finally getting their wish. Variety says Pixar has announced it'll make the sequel fans have been asking for since the first one came out ten years ago. Pixar says it'll also produce a third installment of the "Cars" franchise.

POPE TURNS DOWN RUSSELL CROWE

VATICAN CITY (AP) — The Vatican has turned down Russell Crowe's request for a private meeting with the pope. Crowe had lobbied hard for an audience to see if he could get the pope's endorsement of his upcoming movie about Noah. Crowe and the filmmakers had to settle for attending the pope's general audience with no personal contact. Conservatives have complained the movie doesn't tell the story the same way as the Bible.

BRITTANY DANIEL REVEALS SHE HAD CANCER

NEW YORK (AP) — Brittany Daniel of "The Game" is telling a secret she's been keeping for three years. Daniel tells People magazine that she was diagnosed with stage four non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. She says she immediately started chemotherapy. She moved into her twin sister Cynthia's guest house with her mother and they all helped her get through the ordeal. She hopes her story can inspire others.

JANE FONDA AND LILY TOMLIN SITCOM FOR NETFLIX

NEW YORK (AP) — Netflix is reuniting Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin, who co-starred in "9 to 5." They'll co-star this time in a sitcom called "Grace and Frankie." They'll play longtime enemies who get together when their husbands dump them for other women. Netflix expects to release the 13 half-hour episodes some time next year. The woman who created "Friends" is behind this sitcom.

KID CUDI GETS NAUSEOUS PREPARING FOR "NEED FOR SPEED"

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Kid Cudi (KUH'-dee) had to conquer his fear of heights to learn how to fly three different aircraft in "Need for Speed." He says learning to fly a helicopter wasn't so bad because it doesn't have the ups and downs from turbulence that a plane has. He didn't do well with the extreme upside downs when he filmed in a plane doing aerial acrobatics. He says he got nauseous every time, but never threw up.

FRANCIS CAPRA NEEDED A JOB WHEN KRISTEN BELL DECIDED TO MAKE "VERONICA MARS" MOVIE

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Fans obviously appreciate the fact that Kristen Bell brought back "Veronica Mars" as a movie, but no one is more grateful than Francis Capra, who played Weevil in the series and the movie. Capra has been doing an episode here and an episode there on various TV shows since Veronica Mars went off the air in 2007. He says Bell knew he needed the work. He says she looks at the cast as a "second family" and is always looking out for them.
