SALT LAKE CITY -- As Mitt Romney and Jon Huntsman content with other GOP hopefuls for the 2012 presidential bid, it's easy to compare them side-by-side as the two LDS candidates. Comedy Central's Stephen Colbert couldn't resist.

In "The Colbert Report" for Aug. 10, he said, "One of these guys could be our next president. The other one is Jon Huntsman."

He pointed out, "The Mormon church is looking to change its image, folks, with a PR campaign called ‘I'm a Mormon.' This campaign makes Mormons irresistibly cool… That is awesome."

Then he added, "What am I saying? I'm a Catholic!"

So Colbert proposed an "even cooler" Catholic ad campaign. It features a man on a skateboard, playing a guitar, holding a falcon, and giving a high five to a tiger.

Colbert noted that recent reports indicate Pres. Barack Obama's campaign will try to cast Romney as "weird," which some believe is really just code for Mormon.

Colbert said, "I am really starting to respect that urban, rhythmic, socialist, Kenyan, secret Muslim!"
